SynchroBox is a software for Win 98/ 2000/ XP which manage intelligent safeguards between a specific folder of an Internal Hard disc of a PC and your external USB Media (USB Flash Memory, Memory Cards, External USB HDD…).

It makes possible by carrying out incremental safeguards between your USB devices ( Flash memories or HDD storages) and your PC by "intelligent" synchronizations between your various PC thus ensuring a conformity between the various versions of the files present for example on the PC of your office and the private home PC.

The software allowed managing backups on several different external USB devices. Each device can be considered as specific Project or Work area and be assigned to a disc or a folder of your PC. At the time of the detection of the one of these devices, the software will allowed only synchronization of pre selected area.

This module allows managing in an intelligent way the backup of your discs, of your files and all their sub directories on your USB Storage device.

To separate easily the files "Synchronisables" from the other files which can be on your USB Storage devices that you don't need or don't want it to be synchronised, for examples files of music, the software will creates a root directory /SYNCDATA for all the operations of synchronization.

Your files and Sub directories will thus be copied in the repertory /SYNCDATA being used as the root of your USB devices.

Note: Only the files present in Folder SYNCDATA or in one of its Sub directories will be taken into account for the synchronization operations .This makes it possible to reserve the reminding spaces of the USB Storage devices as a "Private area" which will thus not be taken into account at the time of synchronizations.

On the other hand, if you had beforehand files on your USB Strorage devices and that you wish to synchronize them with your PC, you must then move your files and possibly Folders, in the root directory of synchronization: /SYNCDATA.
